About Katherine
Working with me in therapy is about building an authentic and compassionate connection. You can expect to feel validated and met without judgement.
You Are In The Right Place
You deserve to have a space to talk freely, to identify things you want to change, and to get the insight you seek.
I can equip you with the knowledge and tools to make meaningful change to build the life you have dreamed of living. We can work together to discuss your goals and develop a treatment plan customized exactly for you.
I am an advanced clinician with years of experience licensed to provide clinical therapy in New Jersey and Virginia.
I use modern theories to deliver therapy such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, cognitive therapy, structural dissociation, and parts theories to tailor treatment to you. I have been extensively trained in the treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma, and PTSD. I hold a special interest in the mind-body connection, and as the field of mental health is ever-evolving, I utilize the latest advancements in treatment for mental well-being.
Some examples of what therapy sessions can look like:
Building insight into what triggers tough emotions or anxiety
Learning how your past shows up in your present
Exploring how relationships can improve
Building the capacity for setting better boundaries
Understanding what your needs really are
My therapeutic and clinical background includes working with clients in individual therapy, group therapy, and intensive outpatient hospitalization settings. I also worked as a court-appointed advocate for families and children at risk of foster care.
